Persecution of Opponents

Inside FIVB, a terror system has been imposed, and the Silent Law reigns.

Twenty years ago, Ruben Acosta and his wife established a system where disagreements are forbidden and where it is not allowed any opinion different from the President’s.

The system allows you only to say YES to any proposal, and those that express doubts or objections, also in the Commission meetings or in the Board of Administration, are systematically eliminated

What happened with the Argentina Volleyball Federation is a sample of what happens with those that disagree.
The Only fault of the FAV, was to express solidarity with its President, Eng. Mario Goijman, arbitrarily suspended and afterwards expulsed from FIVB and organized Volleyball.

The FAV was an organization, absolutely representative of the argentine volleyball, formed by 24 Provincial Federations, one for each Argentina Provinces, that developed activities in all the fields:
National Teams, both in Men and Women, excelled in every competition, through the work of the permanent coaching staff.

Juniors and Youth categories classified every two years for the World Championships.

FAV developed its formative activities, through capacitation courses for trainers, referees and coaches
Internal activities began with the National Professional League, and continued with National Minor Leagues, for Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18.

National Tournaments for Regional leagues took place every year in both branches and for all ages.

Organizational Staff at FAV, counted with 15 employees and a technical staff of other 15, and fulfilled a brilliant organization capable for the development of America’s Cup twice, World League for 6 years, Beach Volleyball World Tour during three years, many South American tournaments, and the 2002 World Championship, the cherry in the cake.

But suddenly, FIVB`s decision, pushed by Ruben Acosta, devastated everything, and nothing remained on foot, economically, and in the sports field. And 12 sport leaders where eliminated, without any right to self-defense, in a bloody, and ungrateful purge.

Mario Goijman elimination, carefully prepared, was simply because he has became a threat for Acosta`s conducting style, and his unlawful misappropriation of funds, through his “commission system”

All accusations against Goijman are ungrounded, and based in lies, created with absolute premeditation.

AND WAS NOT ENOUGH WITH HIS EXPULSION, IT WAS NECESARY TO DESTROY HIS IMAGE, ACCUSING HIM OF MISSMANAGEMENT OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONTRACTS, WHAT IS RIDICULOUS AND FALSE.

The previous History:

This did not begin with Goijman or the FAV, neither ends with them. It began long time ago, with those that represented a threat for Acosta, because their image was bright, like it happened with the former Vice-president Yasutaka Matsudaira, or with the forced retirement of Carlos Nuzman, from Brasil, executive member to whom Acosta decided that it was time to retire.

In other cases they acted over the Congress elections:
In the Tokyo 1998 Congress, Madame Acosta requested eagerly to all delegates to exclude Mr. Carlo Magri from Italy in the election, because Malú didn’t like him.

In the Buenos Aires 2002 Congress, the order from Malú and distributed trough Cristobal Marte, Elwany and Wei, was to vote against Herman Van Zwieten from Nederland’s, because his uncomfortable questions and against Lebl from Czech Republic, because he didn’t liked Acosta.

In the candidatures process had already excluded Timo Santalainen from Finland and Miloslav Ejem from Czech Republic.
Rolf Andresen, from Germany, and First Vice-president, has became a trouble and Fabio Sassi did not appeal Malú, thus the Sport Organizing Commission, was deleted, and both leaders were eliminated too.

Luis Mendoza from Puerto Rico, knew too much about the history of Acosta and the FIVB, and his replacement for Cristóbal Marte, was prepared well in advance.

Due to supposed e-mails, was expelled the Swedish Lasse Svensson, and at the same time silenced his brother Jan Svensson, former member of the Finance Commission, that like Van Zwieten knew too much, for Acosta desires and also they needed a more cooperative Finance Commission, that would not make so many questions.

The last step, was Luis Moreno, the Peruvian President of the South American Confederation, accused of being disloyal and unworthy, and expelled without any
Valid reason.

Employees
The same happened with the FIVB employees; 70 of them ( YES SEVENTY), had been eliminated, fired or made resign, with no valid reasons because the caprice or sudden desires of Madame Malú, Franz Schmied or Jean Pierre Seppey, everything in an environment of terror, injustice and permanent unfair pressures.

Among others left Alain Coupat, Administrative Director that suddenly escaped in 2000, Andy Burdin, the efficient Competition Director fired in 2003, Lars Haue Pedersen, Carlos Sanchez, Yvette Moratel, Martine Bonzon, Jean Rice, Kris Bourke, Helene Dubey, Felicia Ravusun, and so on, until completing the list of 70 names.

¿Who will be the next?
